Placage was a game plan between a liberated individual of shading and a white defender. As it was illicit for a lady of shading to wed a white man. The courses of action profited the two gatherings included. French and Spanish dads rewarded their Creole kids impartial, regularly sending them to Europe for training and making them legitimate beneficiaries. Creole Society and CustomsThe non-white individuals are a one of a kind gathering of individuals that have added to the most European city in America, New Orleans. Their way of life slanted towards those of liberated slaves; they were permitted to claim organizations, homesteads, houses and even captives of their own. Houses in and close to Natchez are illustrative of Creole design. They had enormous roomy rooms with high vaulted roofs, angled entryways, overhead fanlights, and fashioned iron railings. There were tall white sections, expansive displays, and enormous doorways outwardly of the houses. In the rear of the most manors was the kitchen and further back were the slave quarters. The chateaus grounds were exquisite with eminent old trees and Spanish greenery, huge amounts of blossoms, and benevolent gardens. Within the manors mirrored the ranch proprietors riches; hand-cut rosewood furniture, mantles, steps, and so on.; winding mahogany flights of stairs, enhanced roofs, and so on. The Creoles wanted to move and they went to numerous balls. Society balls were generally supported by a gathering of unhitched males and youthful wedded men. Different excitements included going to the drama or the theater, vaudeville shows, shows and marches. The men got a kick out of the chance to bet, play pool, backgammon, checkers, dominoes, or go to cockfights, horse races, dogfights, and bullfights. Creole traditions can be separated into two sorts: strict and non-strict. Strict traditions center around occasions: All Saints Day, Mardi Gras and Easter, for instance. On All Saints Day Creoles bring blossoms made of white, dark, or purple tissue paper to put on graves in the graveyard. The week prior to this occasion shops show crowns and crosses with dark globules and immortelles, which may be pictures of holy people. Mardi GrasLoosely deciphered, it implies, Fat Tuesday. Mardi Gras is praised on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, which is the start of Lent. Loaned is the period of supplication and fasting saw by the Roman Catholic Church and other Christian sections during the forty days and seven Sundays before Easter Sunday. The custom of concealing on Mardi Gras was brought from France by the early pilgrims. During the period when Louisiana was a French, and later a Spanish territory, the maskers went from house to house, yet there was no standard road march until after the Americans came into the State. The Americans thought Mardi Gras may turn into a business endeavor, and be made 80 alluring as to attract guests to New Orleans. Early Tuesday morning the cheerful kids, loud with tinkling chimes and wearing veils and gay dominoes, come out of their homes and visit from entryway to entryway in their neighborhood. Later in the day there is a road march, and another around evening time. The Mardi Gras gayeties end with the most splendid wad of the period. Taking everything into account I might want to rehash that from the soonest long stretches of New Orleans history, free people of shading have existed together with those of European extraction. They didnt need to get along fine, yet that was only a lifestyle, which many, needed to either acknowledge or battle against. The free non-white individuals, albeit free, didn't have the entirety of the privileges of their white partners. As Charles E. ONeill, in Our People and Our History, characterized it They shared neither the benefits of the ace class nor the corruption of the slave. They remained between or rather separated sharing the developed taste

Due to the potential of survey noncommittal bias that is inherent in the methodology employed in the article, such estimates may be inflated to a degree. The study shows that over the past decades, the data does not show any important rise in terms of the use of strategic planning by these cities.Nevertheless, the outcomes show that in the United States, a good number of town governments, though well under a majority, have at least used or are using strategic planning. According to the author, this has been done to institute long-lastin g direction, guide in decision-making and to determine priorities. High percentage among cities that engage in strategic planning also report the use of management performance. For instance, the government cities use this particularly for budgeting and measurement practices, which are aimed at implementing strategic policies effectively. It appears to be far less common linking performance measures to strategic plans than linking performance management systems to strategic plans. Media Bias on Women’s Issues - 700 Words

Media Bias on Women’s Issues Detecting bias in news media is a challenge that every person who watches, reads, or listens to the news should accept. Subtle changes in the details of a story can change the entire focus of an event and affect all members of the audience. Applying the gender-based critique analysis process to the media coverage of the 2004 March for Women’s Lives in Washington, D.C. provides an excellent exercise in identifying news bias. The article, â€Å"Muting the Women’s March: Media Lose Focus When Women Protest in Washington† by Julie Hollar provides the background for the following information. Source of the Bias The source of the bias that has been identified in the news reporting at the time is sexism based on†¦show more content†¦This reporting discrepancy downplays the importance of the event, causing discouragement for supporter and detractors disregarding the issues. The coverage by media outlets was limited, a comparison of the 2004 march and the coverage of the Promise Keepers march in 1997 show that Promise Keepers, an evangelical, anti-feminist, anti-gay men’s organization had roughly three times the media coverage (Hollar, 2004). By limiting coverage, news media effectively controlled how the march was viewed and remembered by not only the United States audience but the world media audience. Because of this bias the official points of the march were overlooked almost entirely (Hollar, 2004). This is a tactic that is used over and over to control women and the supporters of women’s rights. Bias on the Production Side The identified concept that might be used to identify bias on the production side of this issue is gender-based critique. According to Denis McQuail (2010) gender-based critique was originally about the stereotyping and marginalization of women, however in the more current environment this critique is more about challenging the continuing sexism of the media. The bias can be displayed as the misogynistic content of many media stories that portray women as somehow faulted for supporting rights of women like abortion, health care, education as well as the concerns of women of color (Hollar, 2004).Show MoreRelatedAlternate Theories On Women s Underrepresentation917 Words   |  4 PagesAlternate Theories on Women’s Underrepresentation Initially it was thought that women were underrepresented in politics and elected office because they were underrepresented in the â€Å"eligibility pool† (Welch, 1978, 372). These factors discussed above have to be taken into consideration to set up a business in any country. These factors affect those companies which have global presence. Pure and proper understanding of these macroeconomic factors is important to understand globalization. The globalization is the effect of integration of economies. It cannot be denied that the globalization has helped many poor countries to sell its products to the industrialized nations. The globalization has helped many countries to empower its residents. The globalizat ion is the need of this hour. The growth is known as the increase in the GDP or gross domestic product of any country. The GDP is the sum total of the goods and services produced in one financial year. The positive growth is the indicator of the good financial system. The factors like global economy, crude prices and Forex variation do impact in the growth in the country. The GDP growth is not only create opportunity in the economy it creates employment. The sluggish growth is one of the main reasons for mass unemployment. The Growth of the economy can be measured by Real GDP growth and by growth in purchasing power parity method. The study suggests that 65% of the active management underperform than passive management. The examination by DFA found that active fund managers, between 2004 and 2009 did not perform very well. On average 5.7% of the actively managed fund disappeared. Only, 1.4 % of the fund had outperformed their benchmark every year. Of the five years ending on Septemb er, 2010 only 4.1% of the large cap funds, 3.8% of the mid cap funds and 4.6 % of the small cap fund performed in the top ranking fund. The average income of the retail investor during the above period was lesser than the institutional investors. The active management is better than passive management if the performance is judged by the return the investors have earned (Erickson, 2014). The downturn due to global economic crisis, created enough problem for financial intuitions worldwide. The world economic crisis in 2008 affected every corner of the world. Declining oil price and withdrawing of the funds created a vacuum in the financial market all around the world. The main risk factor in the asset management is related to macroeconomic development and the change in the global economic scenario. The competitive environment and the investment direction is the main area for the asset management companies. The global economic down turn has showed indicated the fact that the global asset management companies managed their asset most inefficient ways. The challenges now a days asset management companies are facing is related to confidence building. The confidence of the asset management companies are shaken after the global economic down turn. The period before the crisis the asset management was totally different from all points (Pinedo, 2013). The undue reliance on the short term incentives led to the cause of financial crisis in 2008. The short term incentives are the main reason for faulty practice of the AMC. The asset management companies are not immune to the macroeconomic factors and the regulatory changes. There are also some of the issues related to the complexity of the product offered by the asset management companies and the lack of transparency is also the cause of concern. The regulatory risk is also one of the important part in asset management. The short term asset management is facing the regulatory risk from US and EU as these two has s tate are in the environment of regulatory flux. There are several constraints faced by the global asset managers. The constraints are foreign exchange risk, regulatory risk and other risk. The foreign exchange contains are the biggest challenge for the global fund managers. The banks and financial institutions participate in the forex market. The regulatory constraints include the blocking of dividend due to change in the government tax policies. There are other constraints in terms of transferring of funds to the parent company from subsidiary company or vice versa. The management fees, consultancy fees, tax and other fees payment for the parent and the subsidiary is the main area of concern for the fund managers (Kim Kim, 2009). The Odyssey By F. Scott Fitzgerald Essay - 1900 Words

It is an unspoken truth in Homer’s Odyssey that â€Å"homeâ€Å" is something good. All that Odysseus seems to want throughout the poem is to come home again, but that is one thing he is not granted from the god Poseidon for nearly ten years time. On the first page of the Odyssey we learn that all his friends-in-arms had the fortune of returning home â€Å"while he alone still hungered for home and wife.â€Å" (The Odyssey by Homer, translated by Robert Fitzgerald; Book I, line 21-22). The original intention of this paper is the question: What is home? What is it that Odysseus yearns for so long? But reading through the Odyssey again it came to mind, that this question might go beyond the constraints of this essay, considering that Homer describes not just Odysseus’ home, but also shows the reader (or listener) glimpses of the homes of Menelà ¡os, Nestor and Alkà noà ¶s. Throughout the Odyssey one of the most central themes of this poem is the topic of â€Å"ho mecomingâ€Å" illustrated through Odysseus’ struggle to get home again. Odysseus desire for his home is so overwhelmingly strong â€Å"that he longs to dieâ€Å" just for the sight of seeing â€Å"the hearth smoke leaping upward from his own islandâ€Å" (I., l. 78-80). And yet after years and years, after his long and troublesome passage home â€Å"trials and danger, even so, attended him even in Ithaka, near those he lovesâ€Å" (I., l. 26-30). This hints right at the beginning of the Odyssey at something essential in it: even after a voyage full of doubt and fear, a peacefulShow MoreRelatedAnalysis Of Homer s Odyssey, By F. After he escapes his home, he starts to feel more self-assured and strong-minded. Shortly after, on the third encounter with the Japanese, Nicholas shows more confidence and inform in their presence. He is composed, and even shows some good humor while observing some Japanese soldiers. The scene was, Nicholas thought, like a little tableau being put on for his entertainment. He changes from being a helpless and panicked little boy into a fearless adolescent. Throughout the course of the novel, Nicholas becomes more confident in carrying out dangerous and fearful missions hat many others would never imagine doing. For instance, when he is hiding in the bushes peering at the Japanese, Nicholas cant comprehend what is happening and he is scared. After escaping his home out of fear of the Japanese, he begins to morally understand his reality, the difference between good and evil. Tang tells a story of a man he met on the road in SAA Gung. The story shows Nicholas what the true meaning of this war is, and what the Hong Kong people have to do in order to survive. Tang recites from the Tory: If I give him fish to eat, he give me his wife He life so bad, he give me away his wife to be a servant for me so he can eat. Page 101 The man in the story is so poor that he had to sell his wife in order to survive. Learning about this helps Nicholas understand what the people of Hong Kong are enduring. He seriously contemplates the suffering of the man, and the sacrifices made by the locals. The fact that Nicholas is concerned about the people shows that he is mature. An additional example of his moral understanding follows this. Major Fox, an officer, gives a session to Nicholas to deliver the Music on the Bamboo Radio. He tells Nicholas not to be concerned if he is unable to do the task. However, Nicholas realizes how important the task is and how many people depend on it. He doesnt want it to be a failure. He changes from being naive to understanding the nightmares of war. In conclusion, Nicholas escapes his home, and in doing so, learns of the truths of the outside world, and becomes more aware of good and evil. Instead of being afraid, he shows fearlessness towards the Japanese. Nicholas grows into a hero. He is hero to the prisoners of war.

Hamletcharacter Analysis Essay Example For Students

Hamlet:character Analysis Essay Over the centuries many people have complained that William Shakespeare did an inadequate job of steering the readers of Hamlet to a specific interpretation of each character. Each reader is left to decide the true extent of Hamlets evil and insane ways or to realize that he clearly is a victim of circumstances beyond his control, therefore declaring him innocent. Because of William Shakespeares writing style, the reader receives little help in discovering who is truly innocent and who is as guilty as Claudius. Many scholars agree that Hamlet may be the most complex character presented by any playwrite. Over the centuries critics have offered many theories and explanations for Hamlets actions, but none have sufficiently explained him. Many people view Hamlet as a deeply troubled youth who caused many unnecessary deaths, such as those of Polonius and Laertes. Critics who support this theory point out the cruel actions carried out by Hamlet, one example being the indifferent and boastf ul way Hamlet describes the ingenious way he had his two good friend, Rosencrantz and Guildentsern killed. But wilt thou hear now how I did proceed?I sat down, devised a new commission, wrote it fair. I once did hold it, as our satists do, a baseness to write fair, labored much how to forget that learning, but, sir, now it did me a yeomans service. Wilt thou know th effect of what I wrote? An earnest conjuration from the King, as England was his faithful tributarythat on the view and knowing of the contents, without debatement further more or less, he should those bearers put to sudden death. (Shakespeare 5:228-45)The way Hamlet treats Ophelia, the woman he supposedly loved, also supports the portrayal of him being a barbarian. If thou dost marry ,Ill give thee this plague for thy dowry: be thou as chaste as ice, as pure as snow, thou shalt not escape calumny. Get thee to a nunneryreferring to a brothel, go and quickly, too.(Shakespeare 3:1 136-141)Another offered interpretation suggests that using the information given by the ghost of King Hamlet, Hamlet seized the opportunity to regain w hat was rightfully his-the throne of Denmark. One less popular belief that has been expressed states that Hamlet was actually a girl, raised as a man, so there would be an heir to the throne. Critics who support this view say that this theory explains Hamlets reluctance and hesitation to commit murder(which is most often viewed as a masculine act). This is highly unlikely because there is, in fact, no evidence in the play that supports this explanation. All critics do agree that Hamlet is exceptionally intelligent and a sensitive young man, however his actions are left to personal interpretations. Queen Gertrude, Hamlets mother, is perceived by most as a loving yet mysterious figure throughout the play. Her innocence is not only questioned by Hamlet in Act 3 scene 4 (A bloody deed-almost as bad Mother, as to kill a king and marry his brother)but by the readers as well. Many readers believe the final scene, in which Gertrude drinks the poisoned cup, is the clue to determining her guilt or innocence. Perhaps Gertrude drank the poison out of guilt from her role in her first husbands death. Its possible that she drank the wine without knowing that is would be fatal. It all depends on how the reader interprets one of the last things Gertrude says in the play, I will my Lord, I pray you pardon me. Cladius is often thought of as the villain of the play. Shakespeare portrayed Cladius as a true politician-tactful, manipulative and deceitfully clever. His power over people is demonstrated by his control over Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, whom he sent as spies . .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad , .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad .postImageUrl , .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad , .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad:hover , .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad:visited , .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad:active { border:0!important; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad:active , .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u36cae80ed3e16f590f112e96ac82c9ad:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Computer Monitoring EssayAnd can you by no drift of conference get from him why he puts on this confusion, grating so harshly all his days of quiet with turbulent and dangerous lunacy?Good gentlemen, give him a further edge and drive his purpose into these delights.reply from Rosencrantz: We shall, my lord. (Shakespeare 3:1 1-28)Some scholars suggest that we are supposed to view Caldius as being better suited to be king than Hamlet, that is why Cladius does the things he does. Polonius is viewed as a mixture of good and evil. He is clearly an intelligent man who was influential and well liked in the Danish court. Most critics speculate the Polonius intentions were usually good but he had a sinister side as well. His sinister side was demonstrated by his eagerness to obtain a higher political position by any means possible, such as trickery, spying and marrying his only daughter into the Royal family. The advantages and disadvantages of Enterprise Resource Planning

Introduction Most companies have found it difficult to cope with factors such as mergers and competitiveness among others, using the old system of MRP (Manufacturing resource planning). Moreover, they have found it hard to improve in profitability with the same system.Advertising We will write a custom report sample on The advantages and disadvantages of Enterprise Resource Planning specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More This has prompted a shift to Enterprise Resource Planning, which has proved to be efficient in all areas of production. Companies that do not use ERP usually find themselves using incompatible software packages that carry with them numerous errors and problems, thus undermining their objectives. This is mainly because several processes are involved in implementing ERP, all the way from designing of the product to marketing. ERP is therefore very instrumental in enhancing management and efficiency; this would help in ach ieving most, if not all of the company’s objectives. The paper will use two articles to analyze advantages and disadvantages of ERP in organizations (Exforsys, Inc., 2009, p. 1). ERP Enterprise resource planning is a platform that integrates all elements of production in an organization to manage and automate the activities, thereby improving their efficiency, logistics and work flow, among others. Its integration combines all the external and internal factors of production in an organization . It begins right from product design and facilitates flow of work throughout the system. ERP does not rely on periodic updates and therefore ensures real time application throughout its integrated system software. Its ability to run in virtually every network as well as hardware makes it not only viable but reliable too. ERP has a common database that work with all applications. Its reliability is unrivaled as it utilizes database as storage for information. Its main objective is to try and consolidate all the departments in a company. Communication is fastened through this method and product design is boosted as well. ERP strives to incorporate finance, manufacturing, customer service, chain supply, data services and human resource departments, among others. ERP has been touted as one of the best management systems in the world. It has succeeded in replacing MRP as the solution based software that integrates all departments. According to Barker and Frolick, successful implementation of ERP is vital to success of a company.Advertising Looking for report on business economics? Let's see if we can help you! Several articles have tried to suggest ways of implementing ERP successfully in organizations, focusing more on its advantages than the disadvan tages. Furthermore a number of companies have also failed in successful implementation of ERP, instead trying to cover for it with other software packages. However it is quite imperative to note that as much as it is very efficient and useful in its application, ERP requires proper implementation, following of all the guidelines that relates to its implementation along with the inclusion of all departments to achieve its purpose (Baltzan, Phillips, Lynch Blakey, 2010, p. 23). Discussion Numerous articles have underlined the main advantages of ERP as well as its disadvantages. A number of agreements are evident in advantages with a few disparities. However most of the authors do not quite concur on major disadvantages. The following are a few analyses on two articles that share and differ on various aspects of ERP implementation (Bidgoli, 2004, p. 707). ERP Implementation failure: A case Study, by Barker and Frolick Barker and Frolick concur that implementing ERP is a difficult task and requires more than installation of the software. They feel that most companies have failed in their quest to implement ERP because of its management. They also argue that after installation, the management must act to involve every personnel so as to bring success. Team attitude is emphasized in this article with an assurance that sustainable success will follow those companies that completes the required implementation. Barker and Frolick stress the fact that ERP is very important in facilitating mergers, competitiveness and acquisitions that have caused uncountable problems to companies. In their success stories with ERP they give Fujitsu as one such company that has excelled due to ERP. According to them, ERP has the following advantages. ERP is essential in improving employee satisfaction, by dipping work redundancy that is likely to cause fatigue. They also credit it with time conservation, which allows for value added tasks, employee satisfaction is also credited with tra nsforming them into company assets as they gain more experience and stay with the organization. This is important in lowering employee turnover as well as training costs and helps in widening competitive advantage (Sheilds, 2001, p. 9-10).Advertising We will write a custom report sample on The advantages and disadvantages of Enterprise Resource Planning specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More The article goes on to state that ERP’s main targets are those departments that are incompatible and incorporates them in the system to help draw them closer. This helps in improving decision making for the organization as it speeds up information processing. Better decision making in companies help them instill corporate environment. The authors attest to the fact that ERP helps break barriers that usually exist between departments, thus helping in workflow. These benefits are usually enticing to companies, causing them to rush into impleme ntation of ERP. The article also majors on disadvantages of ERP, stating that it is prone to failure without proper implementation as well as management. They also concede that ERP is difficult to implement. Other disadvantages include its inability to be modified into the company’s structure and high risks of failure (Barker, Frolick, 2003, p. 43-49). Academic Tutorials Academic tutorials provides several advantages of ERP namely its ability to interface engineering design, tracking of orders, revenue cycle, control and security of information against any sabotage, among others. The article also dwells on disadvantages, in which it concurs with Barker and Frolick that implementation of ERP is very tasking, it has a high risk of failure as companies try to transform into ERP model, difficult in usage and too rigid. Other disadvantages listed by academic tutorials include high switching cost after its implementation, technical support, which may at times cause computer insecu rity. Still others are charges by ERP vendors that is not reflective of the size, and profitability of the organization, risk of over engineering the system that makes it more complex, problems of accountability due to broken barriers as well as its ability to be affected by other department, among others. The article gives more disadvantages than advantages.Advertising Looking for report on business economics? Let's see if we can help you! The first article by Backer and Frolick emphasizes on importance of using ERP in management systems although it warns organizations of what to expect if they do not comply with its implementation guidelines. Throughout the article they attribute failure to mistakes by organization; on the other hand Academic tutorials provide several disadvantages of ERP. Nonetheless they both concur that ERP is difficult to implement. Among the advantages provided by the article include reduced costs on inventory, chain supply, material time flow as well as in logistics. It is also credited with standardization of the organization practice, improvement of work flow, error reduction, customer satisfaction, and achievement of company goals. Other advantages include breaking of departmental barriers, faster decision making, improvement on communication and relationships between departments, as well as employee satisfaction, among others (Barker, Frolick, 2003, p. 43-49). Both articles also concur that ERP has disadvantages, although academic tutorials discusses more of it. Among the disadvantages listed include its high rate of failure, high costs of implementation and training of staff as well as the high cost of switching from ERP. Other disadvantages named include its complexity, misfits that may lead to bankruptcy (as in FoxMeyer’s case), high risk of failure, for instance about 20% of companies that attempted implementation of ERP have failed; another example is Dell, which never implemented ERP due to its rigidity to expansion. It may take too long (three or more years) to start reaping benefits, by this time most companies may have succumb to failure. ERP also exposes the company to internet insecurity and this becomes very expensive as they have to continually adapt to contemporary data protection techniques that are costly. Implementation of ERP is therefore very challenging to companies much as it is the best (Vyom Technosoft Ltd., 2011, p. 1). Conclusion ERP is very essential for companies as it helps improve their competitiveness, profitability and product design processes. However, it has several guidelines that make it rigid and therefore very complex. This makes it very expensive to implement and poses a high risk of failure if not successfully implemented.
